summarization /Use fields from Last occurrence

Hi,
How's it possible to do summarization for a column containing a number (numeric field ) and to give it as reference the field date when I select "use fields from last occurence" ?

Hi Ahmed,

What are you trying to summarize on?  The date field would be associated with what you are summarizing on, such as account, etc.  So if you have several accounts that you are summarizing on and the dates are different for each transaction doing this would take the date field from the first account or the last.  Hopefully this makes sense.

I'm trying to summarize by "Number" to include all the field to get the last event and my reference will be "used date" and used time,
I attached an example of what I'm trying to do.

Hi Admed,

Thanks for the spreadsheet, that helps explain what you want to do.  So this you need to do in two steps.  First you want to created a sorted database and sort by Number, Used Date and Used Time.  This will put the database in order by Number, Date and Time.  You can now do a summary on Number and include the Date and Time fields.  Depending on if you want the later or earliest dates you would select the first or last ocurrence.  Hopefully this makes sense.
