apologies for the subject but it is Friday. I was wondering if you have any tips or a script on how to run median absolute deviation (MAD). I refer to chapter 6 of Nigrini's book and I find the MAD concept quite interesting. I have tried to use the formula using normal functions but it gets messy. Any tips?

No problem about being MAD but I would think on a Friday you might be more HAPPY
I am in the process of developing scripts from Nigrini's book as there is lots of great information in there, but unfortunately my day job keeps getting in the way. It has been awhile since I have looked at that section so I will have to refresh my memory and get back to you.
