Hi,
Lets say you have two open databases in IDEA - one - a bank book the other a bank statement.
You would like to view both the databases on your IDEA screen at the same time to decide on the manner of joining the files (i.e. common matching key fields)
This can be done by going to the View tab in the IDEA tool-bar. Under View click on Horizontal to view the two databases simultaneously in top down mode.
If you would like to view the databases simultaneously in side by side mode use Vertical under View.
To revert back to the original single database active screen close any one of the databases to remove either the Horizontal or Vertical mode.
