Any difference in importing using Import Assistant and drag and drop?

Is there any difference in functionality if we import an excel sheet using Import Assistant window and drag and drop file? Any open issues or limitations on using drag and drop option?

HI Shafeer,

No, there is no difference, all it does is take you directly to the Excel import dialog so you still have to make decisions about how you want to import the Excel spreadsheet, i fyou want one or more worksheets, etc.  It just skips the first portion of the import where you choose that you want to import an Excel spreadhseet.
