Questions on IDEA Analysis

Hi,
1.How we can open a .idash file in idea? i have created on a database using discover option.
2. What would be the differences between discover and visualize other than the customise options?
3. Other important features in idea version 10 if any?

I have two questions
1. Is is possible to do a join between databases with fuzzy matching. In other words while doing a join, i would like to do based on fuzzy matching and not direct matching. I dont think there is a direct way to do this. Can you let me know how to go about this?

I  am working on IDEA Smart Aanlyzer Routines. 
In IDEA 10-Unicode version, I am seeing an additional field (Data Model) in the tag definition window. License name is showing in the Data Model column. But it is not visible in other versions.  Do you have any idea about this behavior in IDEA 10-Unicode version?

Hi,
I would like to remove journal entries which net to zero from my database, such as accruals and reversals, from a GL using Duplicate Key - Exclusion.
First of all I have created column with absolute values (ABS) and second column for debit and credit entries (DEBIT_OR_CREDIT).
Then using Duplicate Key Exclusion -
               Fields to match: ABS
               Field that must be different: DEBIT_OR_CREDIT

I'm migrating data to a new system in the near future which involves mapping existing data to the data fields in the new system.

I want to be able to compare the data migrated into the new system to that which was exported from the old and flag up any changes.

In theory the two datasets - one imported to the new system (exported from the old) and one exported from the new should be identical.

Hi,
I  have to remove duplicate rows from a database. It should keep first occurrence of the duplicated row in the result file. When I use duplicate key detection, it is removing all occurrence of the duplicates. Is there anyway to get unique records only  from a database?
